FOOD FOR LIFE PARTNERSHIP ROAST DINNER DAY

As part of our involvement with the Food for Life Partnership, and to celebrate our achievements and the work we have done in improving school meals, we are holding a special Roast Dinner Day.  This is a national one day event which all schools across England are being invited to take part in.  We would be delighted if you were able to join us for a delicious roast dinner in our school restaurant and find out more about the work we have done in improving our whole school food culture.

The food will be seasonal and locally sourced, and may include produce from our own school garden as well.  We are really proud of our achievements with the Food for Life Partnership, and would love to share this with as many people as we can from our wider school community.

The Food for Life Partnership is a Big Lottery funded project which brings together the expertise of the Soil Association, Focus on Food Campaign, Garden Organic and the Health Education Trust.  Working with these partners, we have been learning about growing and cooking local, seasonal and organic food, and about life on the farm, developing valuable life skills in the process.

Lunch will be served from 12.30 pm if you would arrive at the school reception for 12.20 pm.  I’d be grateful if you could RSVP to 0208 534 3210 by Monday 27/09/2010 or return slip to the reception with names of your guests for our records and catering numbers.  Adults £2.20 per head, Kids £1.95 per head.
