A Phenomenal Turnout

This morning, our Year 5 families came together for a fantastic Oracy workshop that showcased the power of imagination, teamwork, and spoken language.

Parents and children joined forces to create original stories inspired by a single image of a teddy bear. The room was buzzing with excitement as families brainstormed plot ideas, built on each other’s contributions, and developed vibrant characters.

Oracy (the ability to articulate ideas, listen carefully, and communicate effectively) is a cornerstone of our learning environment. Seeing parents actively participating alongside their children highlighted how collaboration and creative expression make learning deeply engaging and fun.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended and helped make the morning such a resounding success. We look forward to seeing how these storytelling skills continue to flourish in the classroom!
