How One Person Can Change the World

"Can one person make a difference?" That was the inspiring question posed by Ms Humm during Monday’s Primary Artsmark Assembly, prompting our young learners to reflect on the power of individual action and positive change.

Throughout the assembly, pupils were invited to consider how single individuals can spark meaningful transformation for entire communities. To bring this message to life, Ms Humm introduced the children to several significant figures in Black history who achieved extraordinary change through courage and determination, including civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

As an Artsmark school, we take pride in using creative and thought-provoking assemblies to nurture critical thinking, empathy, and social awareness across our primary phase. The session left our pupils feeling empowered, inspired, and aware of the difference they themselves can make in the world around them.
